A brief history for your primary teacher:
My name is Angela Resseguie, I have been training with Central Michigan Karate club for 14 years.  I have had a great time learning not only karate but valuable life lessons along the way!  There is a plan in place for me to test for my black belt this winter which I am very excited about.  I have trained in the martial arts for over 25 years earning my black belt in Kodakan Judo in 1997.  I love to teach, my priorities are teaching the whole person, including discipline and respect for the art and for teammates as well as the physical skills.  I work very hard to make this a fun, but somewhat demanding class, learning who my students are and challenging them to move beyond that is what drives me as a teacher.
There are no stupid questions! Please feel free to contact me and ask me anything, I am here to help you on your journey into the mystery and mastery of the martial arts!
I teach under the instruction of Douglas Resseguie 3rd Degree black belt with Central Michigan Karate.  He is also available via email at dresseguie@gmail.com.  He will also be at most if not all special events so you will get a chance to work with him personally.
From time to time you will meet other people of rank whether black belts or other ranking students who are either visiting or brought in to help with a section of teaching.  It is the expectation of your instructor that you give them the same or better respect that you would give me.
